  • And just like that, Codega's back!
  • Thanks for being nice kids while I was gone!
  • Let's go over the 1 pagers together.  DO NOT JUST READ THESE!  Hit the highlights / essential info in like less than 2-3 minutes!
  • Quickly cover the articles from last class and Codega will check them for a grade!
  • Next we need to look at stuff we should know for Food and Health.
    • Did we finish that unit??

8/25/21

  • Sorry guys -- COVID brain fog is real!  I thought I had uploaded your work but....
  • Anyway, my bad and I'll have some work for you Friday!
    • Stay safe!

8/23/21

  • Codega's out -- I'm fine but I won't be back until Monday Aug 30th.
  • Check this space for work each class period!
  • Today:
    • Continue to work on the review one page documents
    • They need to be:
      • Easy to read and digest (that means NO paragraphs of text / must function as a STUDY Guide)
      • Can  be more than one page
      • Include pictures / graphs / maps / charts / whatever to help reinforce concepts.
    • Since you have two full class periods to complete these they had better be good!
    • If you finish early please look over your notes and the textbook to check that you didn't miss anything vital!  THEN you can work on other IB stuff -- please don't waste this valuable chance to get ahead your senior year!
  • Again. check this space next class for more information!
  • Have a great day, wear a mask, and stay safe out in these streets!

8/18/21

Welcome Back!

  • What did you guys get up to this summer?
  • Now some good news -- https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2021/08/delta-has-changed-pandemic-endgame/619726/
    • Uhhhh....wait....not really.....
  • Before we hit new content let's create some review guides for what we completed last year.  Let's keep it pretty simple.
    • 1 page document that hits all the info from the guide.
    • There are 9 of you and 9 parts of the guide for the core content.
      • These need to be intentional and well designed -- make sure it's the type of thing that you will actually use 9 months from now when preparing for this IB exam!
